Yesterday I got a package that I've been waiting for since the last couple of weeks, soo excited when I first saw the name of the sender.


I quickly dialled my brother cause he was the one who ordered what I wanted and it was his name on the front side of the package, when I said to him where the package was from, he immediately said that the package was for me so I could ripped it off without having to wait for him, yeaahh ^o^


Excitedly, I opened it.. first disappointment was that the enveloped was no longer sealed! I don't know whether it was the sender who cut it off or the post office here but the side of the envelope had been cut.


Next disappointment was.. my goodness, I was ordering postcard online from HongKong and I was expected something big, at least much bigger than the size of.. namecards!!


I mean, there should be a minimum standard size for something to be called as postcard, right? What I got were more like mini greeting cards, rather than postcards, huhuhuhu..


I was soo disappointed even though the images are still so cute to look at :'( Not to mention that those 'mini' cards are like printed by personal computer, not even printed on a thicker paper!


Lesson number one from my international online shopping is.. ask much things about the things I'd like ordering before making the order! Just ask, and NEVER assume it myself about the things I wanted to buy!


So I browsed the seller page again to see what I've missed and apparently.. the image was quite clear of how very small those cards were, wakakakakakakakak..


Looked like I was too focused and too overwhelmed of the idea that I might have those cards with such cute images, and most certain, the ones you can't buy here that I didn't put too much notice on the card size, ahahahahaha..


So there goes my first experience of buying postcards online :p


Will I buy something else? I'd surely will.. cause I've checked another web source and there are soo many postcard books around with cute images, I just need to figure out the shipping fees and calculate it to my own currency so I know how much I'd spend, not just assuming, ahahahaha!

I now have something to look for when I logged in to Facebook, no noo.. I'm not anxious to update my status with my daily life, hahaha.. there's nothing much to share anywayy :p

I lovee seeing the flooding of encouraging words or quotes that have been shared by my friends ^o^


And from the photo quotes they share, sometimes I clicked the original source and share many other quotes from there ;)


For me personally it's a better way to flooding my friend's wall with some words that might have been what they need to 'hear' other than reading my ramblings all the time, ahahaha :p

We never know what others have to go through in their lifes.. we don't know what they keep inside their hearts and how those emotions might eating them alive..

It has been a while since the last time I posted any "Handsome Parades" posts, ahahaha.. and I think, heyy.. what's a better way to end the week than indulge our eyes with such handsome creatures God has created ^o^

There are 3 tennis players on this edition, the ones I've just recently 'found' since I hadn't seen any tennis matches for years so I really have no idea that there are some other hotties on the courts other than Roger Federer, ahahaha :p

Life & Washing Machine

Because of the 'maid' incident, for couple more days I still had to do the laundry even after the holiday was over..

There are 5 steps that I usually do each time I use the washing machine..


First and second one are to use the detergent so all the dirts in the clothes got separated from the fabrics.


The 3rd step is the use only water to make the clothes free from the bubbles.


And the 4th step is to use Molto to soften and make the clothes smell wonderful.


The last one is to dry the clean clothes before hanging them for the sun to dry.


While watching those clothes being cleansed.. suddenly I thought that maybe life was like a washing machine, too..


If only those clothes have mouth and can talk, maybe they will tell us that their time in the washing machine ain't that enjoyable at all and such a miserable one to feel your body being twisted here and there, not to mention how much water the clothes need to swallow and yuucckk.. those detergents might not taste delicious, ehh?


So they might suffer from headache, stomachache, and only clothes know what other pains they might feel!


Maybe what the clothes have to go through in that washing machine is the same like we're dealing with life.


At times in life, we might feel like our world has been turned upside down, there might even be time when you feel hard to breathe, when you feel like you want to runaway and leave all things behind cause you just can't stand the pain any longer..


But after all is done.. like the clothes that have been shiny, clean and smells good.. the same goes for us..


Suddenly life gets better and all things seem wonderful!


Hmm..


So when the going gets tough.. when everything seems to fall apart.. all we need to do is hold on.. just a little longer until it's all over and the sun shines again and sets aside the dark clouds that had been hanging for wayy to long?

God Does Work in Mysterious Way(s)

It's funny how from time to time, you come to realize that God does work in a mysterious way, how sometimes wishes do come true but you can't predict from which directions cause at times the way things happen is far from what you expect them to be.

Where do I get my conclusion of the day? It's none other from the pic above ;)

Do you know what pic is that?

It's a pic of a man and his cat, I've seen some variations of this pic at the Postcrossing's gallery but only about a week ago I learned from a kind Postcrosser fellow that the man's name was Pettson and Findus was the cat! And the illustrator behind these amazing "Pettson and Findus" series is Sven Nordqvist.

I still don't know exactly where Sven Nordqvist comes from and yeaahh.. I'm too lazy to use Google to find out about that, hahaha.. the beauty of mystery, that's how I'd like to call it :p

Anywayy..

I've mentioned how I want a card of "Pettson and Findus" card in my main Postcrossing's account but still no one sends me the card yet.

Funnily though.. I finally get the above card.. from my 2nd account! Ahahaha.. I didn't mention about "Pettson & Findus" at all in my 2nd account, I only say that I'm more into illustration from children books, but heyy.. that's where the card I've been waiting for finally arrives ;)

Isn't it amazing how He has soo many ways to fulfill what we're longing for? Isn't it comforting to know He does listen to our heart's desire?

Sure.. sometimes we don't get what we want, no matter how much we want it, hahaha.. but in time I guess we come to realize that perhaps it's true that not getting what we want is for the best ;)

Be grateful for whatever things come in your life, they're there to shape you to be a better version of yourself.

And there's one thing that I heard from "Enjoying Everyday Life" with Joyce Meyer that I love so much.. she said that we need not to be like anyone else, just be who we really are and no need to apologize for that :D

I don't remember the exact words, ahahaha..

But I find it funny how God has created each of us unique with some slight differences with other people but at times we're doing our hardest efforts to eliminate the differences and be exactly the same like anyone else, ahahaha..

Be grateful of our own 'garden', even when it's not as green as the neighbours' (from afar).. let's plant some flowers and wait for them to bloom so let our neighbours have the greener garden but we can enjoy the beauty of colourful flowers in our very own garden, yeaahh!
