Comedy Stars to Pay Tribute to Ed Sullivan Show on PBS

Ed Sullivan’s Comedy Legends will premiere on PBS stations Saturday, August 6. This star-studded special brings back the show’s greatest moments that defined the history of comedy, including the timeless routines of George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Red Skelton, Flip Wilson and many more. Edward Vincent "Ed" Sullivan (September 28, 1901 – October 13, 1974) was an American entertainment writer and television host, best known as the presenter of the TV variety show The Ed Sullivan Show.
