I love the above quote, especially in the joke-truth part, that is why I never like sarcastic jokes cause for me the one who says the sarcastic jokes meant what he says, only he's not brave enough to say it directly and boldly.
So next time you hear those 3 reactions of : "just kidding", "I don't care" and "It's okay", pay a little more attention on what goes beyond words can say cause it might be a sign of truth, emotion and pain ;)
